Because this is a true 3.5-inch coil spring lift, it requires longer shocks or appropriate aftermarket shock absorbers rather than simple extension brackets to match the increased suspension travel and ride height.

Due to the added weight of the 4xe the 2 1/2 in lift kit says it is closer to 1 1/2 in the 4xe. Is the 3 1/2 inch kit similarly closer to 2 1/2 inches?

Will this kit fit a 4xe?
This will work with the 4xe. Teraflex suggests the JL 4dr 4xe: Parking Brake Cable Spacer Kit. That would have to be purchased direct from Teraflex. Thank you for the question.

Does this require a new front driveshaft for a JL Rubicon?
Teraflex does not stress a need for driveline modifications for this kit on standard or Rubicon packages. You should be okay with factory driveshafts. Thanks for your inquiry.
