No, that is incorrect. The AEV Borah Wheel is fully compatible with all 2020 through 2026 Jeep Gladiator JT models (as well as Wrangler JL models), sharing the same 5x127mm bolt pattern and hub bore required for the platform.
If the site indicated otherwise, it may be due to a specific backspacing, tire size pairing, or specific trim note a customer was experiencing with their specific setup, but the wheel itself fits the 2020 Gladiator properly.

do these wheels come with the wheel ring or does that need to be purchased separately.
The base JL/JT AEV Borah DualSport Beadlock Wheel comes as a clean, minimalist wheel without a ring included by default.

I noticed there is a now discontinued JK version of this wheel. Will this, the JL version, work on a JK? I have an AEV 2.5" coil lift on a 2018 JK sport and looking at a 35x12.50r17 AT tire. Thank you
The JL wheel will be tucked in more than a JK variety designed with lower backspace parameters and with 35x12.50 you may experience turning radius rub at full lock without the addition of some offset spacers. The bolt pattern is the same, but make sure to run JK lugs. Thanks for your inquiry.
