The product description is a lie. It claims it will support up to a 39” tire on its own is a lie. Per Teraflex, the tailgate reinforcement is required to run above a 35” tire. Supposedly Teraflex informed Quadratec of this, but I see that Quadratec has not fixed it. I have this part on my 2020 JLUR, with 37” nitto ridge grapplers mounted on 17” fuel D113 wheels, and now I need the tailgate reinforcement per Teraflex. Waste of time, money, and effort. Oh and did I mention the lie?
