Follow up to my original question. The soft top does have the frame mounted inside the Jeep. But when I took the hard top off and pulled the soft top up and latched it at the front there is a gap between the doors and soft top and there were no side windows or rear window. Will this kit correct that?

*Note: The door surrounds used in these kits are NOT designed for use with factory soft top bows. The hooks needed to secure the factory bows are not included with these door surrounds. This kit is designed to be used with Summer Accessories including the MasterTop Ultimate Combo.
I bought a used 4D 2008 Jeep Wrangler Sahara edition that had a hard top on it. There was also a softball but no hardware, side or rear panels. And while there was a tailgate bar, there was not any clips to install if. Not sure what factory soft top bow are. How can I tell if the softtop I have installed will work with this kit?

I bought a used factory top for my jk and it just has the frame and top with windows. Is this set everything else I need for to install it. I have a hard top

I have a Mastertop Wind Stopper Plus cab curtain without the hard ware. I am using the hardware from my previous soft top which is not working out too well with the Windstopper and curtain. I would like to buy this kit. But only install the vertical bar for the door surround. Can I just install the vertical piece from this kit and install it securely?
The entire door surround should be used for proper fit. The vertical bar on these surrounds will not attach to the Jeep without the horizontal part also used. Thanks for your inquiry.
