I have a 2018 JL unlimited with the factory hard top. Will the sunshade fit under the hardtop?
Yes, it will. It may be hard to access the locking levers, however.

In the video is says no tools required, but in the attached instructions it shows dropping the windshield and installing hardware in various spots. Which is correct?
The install instructions should be followed. This video was produced prior to the release of the JLU models of the shadetop. Sorry for any confusion.

It absolutely does fit with the factory soft top.
