Does the DELUXE BUMPER 3450440 have a skid plate?
No, the ARB Deluxe Classic Front Bumper (3450440) does not include a standalone skid plate.

This bumper is engineered to be compatible with the factory steel skid plate found on Rubicon models. If you have a Sport or Sahara with the plastic splash guard, that guard is typically removed or trimmed during installation.

I do not have my factory bumper as I'm going from a stubby to this bumper. The instruction call for cutting out the crush sleeve and using them. Do I need to have this or is this strictly a safety feature that ARB does with their bumpers?
