What color is this? In the pictures it looks black. However, in the installation instructions it looks silver.

The original skid plate is badly rusted and broken. Can this be put in after the original is removed?
Simply bolt the Rough Country Fuel Tank Skid Plate over the factory fuel tank and skid plate. It is not intended as a replacement for the original one. Thanks for your inquiry.

The skid plate is one piece with three small brackets for easy installation. It fits over the factory fuel tank skid plate and weighs 53 lbs.
