I currently have the ORACLE 7443-CK LED Switchback High Output Can-Bus LED Bulbs (Pair) that I installed 6 years ago with a jury-rigged wiring set-up to get an ignition fed hot lead to the lights. The lights just recently stopped working and I'd like to replace the jury-rigged system with something more reliable. Will this kit do the trick or do I need something else? I have 2019 Jeep Wrangler JLU - did not come with DRL. Thanks.

Yes, the Quadratec Daytime Running Light (DRL) Adapter Wiring Harness is exactly what you need to replace your current "jury-rigged" setup with a reliable, professional-grade solution.
How it solves your problem Since your 2019 Jeep Wrangler JLU did not come with factory DRLs, you've likely been searching for a clean way to power the "white" portion of your Oracle 7443-CK Switchback Bulbs. This harness is designed to tap into the vehicle's electrical system without any cutting or splicing. Plug-and-Play Design: The harness "Tees" directly into the factory fender flare lamp connector located behind the driver-side fender. Dual Output Wires: It provides two distinct fused pigtails for you to connect your lights: Yellow Wire: Provides ignition-fed 12V power. This is what you currently have "jury-rigged" and will keep your white DRLs on whenever the engine is running. Red Wire: Connects to the parking/marker lamp circuit, which only receives power when your lights are manually turned on or it is dark enough for the auto-headlights. Weatherproof Reliability: Unlike a temporary setup, this kit uses high-quality copper and silicone-encased connections to prevent the corrosion that likely caused your previous wiring to fail after 6 years.

Where is the connector located on a 2024 Wrangler Rubicon?

On your 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, the connector for the Quadratec DRL Adapter Wiring Harness is located behind the driver's side fender flare.

Can this be installed on the passenger side instead of the drivers side?

The Daytime Running Light DRL Adapter Wiring Harness Quadratec Part #: 97109-0925 is designed to be installed on the driver's side of the 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL and 2020+ Gladiator JT. To ensure proper and safe installation, you should install the Quadratec Part #: 97109-0925 DRL adapter wiring harness on the driver's side as intended. Attempting to install it on the passenger side could result in a non-functional or improperly wired setup.

2 questions please:
1) What gauge is the wire?
2) Do I just ground the negative lead from the lights I’m adding to any metal on the vehicle as it appears there is only a positive lead coming from the harness?
Thanks

18 Gauge. Yes, you are correct for grounding you lights. Thanks for your inquiry.

I have a 2020 Gladiator Sport S that does NOT have factory DRL. Will this adapter give me DRL function?

No. That function could be changed with the use of a Tazer programming tool. Tazer JL Mini Programmer Thanks for your inquiry.

Does the red and yellow wire have to be used in order for the product to work? Can I use it just for DRLs and leave the other wire hanging out for future use?

They can and should be used independently. They do NOT both need to be used at the same time. One of them is a parking light tap, the other is a DRL tap. When using one or the other, I recommend putting a small piece of tape over the exposed end of the unused wire. That way it is available for future use. Thanks for your inquiry.

Did you guys fix the pin coding issues that are mentioned on the reviews?

The pin coding has been addressed.

I’m confused about the difference between the red and yellow wires. I’m installing the Baja Designs LP9 and would like to use these to power the amber backlight feature. What would using the yellow vs red produce? I have a Rubicon with the LEDs if that makes a difference.

The red wire would be for when you switch your running lamps on from the multi function switch, the yellow wire would be for lights that would be on once the car is turned on(DRL).

Will this allow for hooking up headlights with a DRL/turn signal halo combo, or are both wires strictly DRL? I've been wanting a pigtail that's wired for both DRL and turn signal.

These are strictly for DRL functionality
