I hated the stock headunit and uconnect and I hardly ever got along. I replaced it with this unit and have been pleased completely. I bought the plug and play package and was glad I did. Was very easy and fast to install. Bluetooth has been great and talking on the phone is much improved. The power this unit has paired with the upgraded Kicker speakers was a major boost. The factory unit didn't push them well but this Sony unit sure does. Sounds so much better. I have found the unit to be easy to use and like being able to change the accent color.

The installation on this was one of the easiest radio swaps I've ever done. It's literally a plug and play installation!

Installation is very smooth and sound is great however.. and it's a big however.. there are gaps around the top and bottom of the unit. This is not water resistant in the least bit. If you do any topless seasonal driving, like I do during the late spring to early fall, when it rains, this is going to be a problem. This was a Christmas gift for me and I will use it for a little while but I will be replacing soon.

I ordered the Sony DSX-B700 with the proper installation kit for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler. My Jeep is equipped with the factory subwoofer. The total cost with shipping and handling was $473.95. I installed it correctly by using the supplied instructions. I had it in the Jeep for just five months before it stopped working. I have since removed it and reinstalled the factory radio which still works as it should. Since it has been five months since the purchase I most likely won't get my money back. Best case is that I might be able to exchange it for a new or rebuilt radio. Too late. I'm not putting another aftermarket radio into my Jeep. Do not waste your money on this junk. I usually don't write reviews, but I need to say something. I'll give it one star just because everything else I have ordered from Quadratec has been great. What a piece of garbage.
