Hi, since I have a 3.21 gear ratio and will need a new diff cover. Will I need a new spider gear set as well? Or can I use the factory one? If a new spider set is required can you please provide a link to the correct one needed? Thank you.

3.21 Gear ratio will need to change the front case for the spider gears so they can handle that carrier deck height difference. A case only would allow you to have your spider gears reused, but that is more labor intensive. Getting a pre loaded front diff case with spiders for the higher ratio may be a better way to go from labor cost standpoint. Here is the Mopar complete front locker for higher ratios.Dana 30 Front Case and gears for 3.73 and Numerically Higher Thanks for your inquiry.

Is a rear carrier required to go from 3.21 to 4.11

The Dana 44 does not require a new carrier. The Dana 30 will require a new carrier, yes.

HI, for 3.21 gear ratio will require a new front carrier. can you please give me a link for that parts please. thanks

Hi there. That's correct. Sure can. Yukon makes a front differential case that's good for 3.73 and numerically higher gear ratios here: https://www.quadratec.com/p/yukon-gear-axle/standard-open-differential-case-dana-30-front-axle-373-and-numerically-higher-gear

I have a 2012 Wrangler 2 dr JK Artic. Dana 30 in the front and 44 in the rear. 37" tires installed. Does this kit include everything needed to upgrade?

We need to know your gear ratio to answer this fully. If you know or can confirm that your gear ratio is 3.73 or numerically higher, then YES, this kit contains everything that you need for the conversion. If your gearing is 3.55 or lower then you will need a new carrier as well.

I have a 2017 stock jk Dana 30 front with a 3.21 gear ratio will I need a new carrier to go to 4:11 gear ratio?

Yes, you will.

To go from 3.21, only a new front carrier is needed, not a rear as well, right?

Correct.

i have a automatic trans jk with dana 30 front and dana 44 rear. Would i have to change the carrier if they both have a 3.73 ratio currently?

If you have 3.73's currently, you do not need to change the carrier to go numerically higher. The carrier break on your JK's Dana 30 front is 3.73 and numerically higher. The JK Dana 44 does not have a carrier break. Due to this, you are good to go!

have 99 XJ with stock dana 30 front axle and a dana 44 rear axle. will this kit work for my setup?

No, it will not.

So going from stock Dana 30 gearing to 4.88 I do not need a new carrier...?

Stock is not a gear ratio unfortunately. If the current gear ratio of the Dana 30 3.54 or numerically lower you would require a new carrier. The rear Dana 44 would require a new carrier if the current ratio is 3.73 or numerically lower.
