I have a '19 Rubicon that has LED lights. Will I have to have these programed or will they be plug and play?
The Jeep JL & JT LED Fog Lights - DV8 Offroad BCFLJL-01 are completely plug-and-play and will not require any computer programming or flashing on your 2019 Rubicon. Since your Rubicon already came equipped with factory LED lighting, your vehicle's computer and wiring harness are already configured for LED power levels.
How do you switch the Plastic Brackets ? Mine came with the incorrect bracket installed and I want to switch them. I thought the bracket is secured via a top and bottom screw but they are not. I don't want to pry it out and break it.
To switch the plastic mounting brackets on the BCFLJL-01 fog lamps, look around the outer perimeter or back edge of the light housing where the bracket clips or screws into place. Unlike standard lights, these brackets are typically secured by small screws recessed into the sides or corners of the collar, or they snap tightly into an alignment groove molded into the light body.

If they do not use top/bottom screws, check for small retaining screws holding the outer ring or gently pull apart the interlocking plastic tabs using a small flathead screwdriver while applying steady pressure. To verify success, the incorrect bracket will slide or pop completely free, allowing the correct bracket to lock securely into place with zero play.
Are these direct replacements? I keep seeing my jeep will need reprogramming to switch from halogen to led. Is this correct?
