The unit is solid and well made. I have a larger smart phone (6' from top to bottom), and while the item holds the phone securely I cannot place it in the holder AND charge it at the same time (the charging wire hits the holder and the phone must be tipped upward - not facing me) . Therefore this did not work for me.

Good while it lasted.as soon as you break one of the arms it’s pretty much useless. I was told the arms can not be replaced .you get what you pay for
