So I like the jack mount, but of course as they noted it doesn't work with rock rails so I cut my rock rail off and shortened just before 1st bolt. Also had to get rid of rubber on bottom that jack sits on because it wouldnt line up with my jack. Main bolts threads were extremely tight and I should have chased them. You will need two wrenches to get jack off and on. I do like that you can't see it at all while driving. Overall I like the look and location better than other options.

The only reason I didn’t give it 5 starts is if you use the supplied pad for the foot, the holes won’t line up to mount the Jack! I just removed it and it fits perfectly! Hey looks and comments all the time! I just added another socket to my trail kit for the two mounting bolts!

2/5 – Great Quality, But Did Not Fit My 2018 Jeep JL

The Go Rhino 701001T Exterior Jack Mount for my 2018 Jeep JL had solid build quality. It looked and felt great right out of the box—heavy-duty and well-constructed. I was excited to get it installed, but unfortunately, it just didn’t fit.

While the top bolts lined up perfectly, the bottom bolt hole was off by about 1.5 inches. I even went as far as removing my fender to make sure that wasn’t the issue. I also confirmed there were no side steps or anything else impeding the pinch seam area that could affect the installation. Despite all that, the mount just didn’t wrap around or fit the bottom contour of my Jeep, leaving me with a defective part that I couldn’t use.

I was really hoping for a quick install, but the geometry issue left me disappointed. Quality seemed great, but unfortunately, the fitment was a dealbreaker for me.

Total disappointment. The bottom of the mount is a full inch away from the pinch weld.

A lot of people have left 5 star reviews so maybe mine was a one off, but this mount would not align to the holes very well. It was was missing multiple parts. This should have been an easy plug and play and due to the poor construction it was not due to the poor alignment. I will be rethinking future purchases from here..
