No, these are only for the front seats.

By adding these brackets does it affect how close the seat can go forward? I saw 1 review that said the farthest forward setting with brackets installed is the same as the farthest back without the brackets. My wife drives the Jeep sometimes and has to move the seat up as it is now.
Yes the furthest rear position stock front seat is essentially the farthest forward position with the Big Boy brackets. Unfortunately it does not expand the range of motion. Thank you for the question.
Do these seat brackets lower the over height of the seat, or just provide the seat with the ability to slide further back?
Just the room front to back for added leg room. It is not best for longer torsos that have headroom concerns.
