Reviews for Mopar 5 oz. Touch Up Spray Paint for Jeep Vehicles
not an exact match but does cover up a scratch. Easy to see where it was used on the Jeep
Hydro blue (PBJ paint code) absolutely MUST have the clear coat to look right. After wasting two cans due to repeated horrible dry finishes, I finally did a ton of research to learn that some colors have this issue. The instructions say this is only the case if the color paint code ends with CC. I am here to tell you that is NOT true. Also, it needs a generous amount of clear coat, at least two coats. I wasn't doing a touch up, I painted the center caps for my wheels. Now that they are done I'm pretty happy, but they only get 3 stars for incorrect instructions and a week of frustration.
Not sure about the quality here. The gloss is spotty. Some areas are high gloss and others it's dull. Might have received a bad can. The first can worked great, the second one is where I'm having trouble getting a consistent coat.
Good color match, price is high and the cans are small.
Color is correct but coverage is seriously lacking... way to thin. This is not like regular spray paint that will cover in just a few coats.
Color is not even close to Red Rock Crystal Pearl that my Wrangler is. Also, sprays heavy and narrow which make it run easily no matter how careful you are.
Not a good match for my garage kept 2/1/2 year old firecracker red Jeep. Too dark. I'm disapointed with it.
Color did not match! Leaves a darker color even with gloss !
I ordered paint code PTA Mojave Sand and received KTA Mocha Latte. Apparently there is a fiat color code that is the same as the Chrysler code. Of course nothing was included in the packaging saying this, it took a frantic phone call to get this clarification from Quadratec. The paint looks to be same color on test spot. Shame on FCAU for creating confusion.
After several minutes of shaking the can I began spraying the can from about 8-10 inches away from the surface to be painted. While spraying the paint I began to notice that the color tones were incosistant. I know I propurly shock the can (at least 5 minutes) so I can only asume I got a defective product. Im disapointed at the quality of this "Mopar" product, you would expect for the price of this small 5 OZ can you'd get a decent can of paint.
