Is there a way to convert the regular Trektop into an Ultra? Can you just buy the folding hardware?
No, you cannot.

Will hardtop fit when soft top fabric is completely removed, but soft top hardware remains in place?
No. You will need to remove the hardware before installing a Hard Top.
