It was a nice surprise to see this part has been updated to use LED. I was expecting to swap out the halogen bulb with an LED but no need. Perfect fit and bright.

Works great clips right in . There was a bulb soldered in . The correct bulb clips on so I chipped it out and installed a correct LED bulb which won’t stain and melt the lens over time because of excess heat from it . Not sure why a bulb was soldered in they make correct bulbs for them. But easy enough to pop it out . Good clean and brand new ..

I went to remove the existing bulb with an LED when I saw these idiots soldered the bulb! How on earth is this even remotely possible?? Unbelievable! This is clearly an example of corrupt obsolescence.
