How much total height would this add to the roof of a Jeep wrangler JL 4 door after it is completely mounted using the correct mounting hardware? I am wanting to mount a rooftop tent on top, but cannot have the rack too tall so it wills still fit in my garage. Thank you!
The Go Rhino SRM500 Flat Roof Rack adds approximately 3 to 4 inches of total height above the factory hardtop of a Jeep Wrangler JL 4-door, depending on the specific mounting brackets used.
Because the SRM500 features a low-profile 2-inch tubular flat platform design, it keeps the overall vertical profile relatively tight. However, if you plan to mount a rooftop tent on top of the rack, the tent itself will add several more inches (typically 8 to 12+ inches depending on whether it is a soft-shell or hard-shell model). What are the exact measurements of the 55'' unit. I want to mount it on my '23 JT and be able to remove the freedom top panels. Thank you

Is this a bolt on kit or do I have to drill into my roof panels?
You will have to drill into your hardtop.

Is there a way to still take the freedom panels off if you have the 65 or 75 inch version?
No. The rack would require removal for you then be able to remove your freedom panels. Sorry for the inconvenience.
