Does the engine purchase include trading in my current Jeep engine?
Yes, when you purchase a remanufactured or replacement engine like the DA34 ATK Engines 4.0L I-6 for your 2000-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ, the transaction involves a core charge. The purchase price advertised includes a core deposit that will be returned to you when you ship back (we pay the freight back!) the old motor.

Is this a complete engine? Have a 2000 Cherokee Sport 4x4 with the 4.0/242 L6. Not sure about transmission. Engine has 200k on it, just looking at a “just in case” I need a replacement.

Someone asked previously do these show the TUPY engine casting? (It will still show 0331) the tupy was an improved version of the 0331 so it helps if we know this comes with the improved head. Thanks!
