The installation notes say “Not compatible with factory spare tire mount.” Does this mean the rear bumper cannot be installed with the OEM tailgate spare tire carrier in place, and that an aftermarket tire carrier (or another relocation solution) is required? If so, which type of tire carrier is recommended or compatible with this bumper?

Compatibility: The RX rear bumper's high-clearance design interferes with larger spare tires mounted in the stock low position.
Requirement: You must either relocate the spare tire or use an aftermarket HD carrier/relocation bracket that lifts the spare tire high enough to clear the top of the bumper.
