I figured I would give this a shot since it looked nice in the pictures and was cheaper than the Bestop wind stopper and tonneau covers I've had in the past. Unfortunately the pictures are a little deceptive.

In the pictures it shows the wind stopper hanging nice and straight down. The only way this is possible is if the seats moved all the way forward and not tilted back. If you move the seat about half way back it pushes agains the wind stopper and will stress the straps over time. I have submitted two pictures that show what it looks like with the seats all the way forward and then just half way back.

I found other issues I have with the wind stopper if installing on a later model TJ (mine is a 2003). I like the ability to quickly and easily change out my tops. The straps that hold this up go behind the speaker pods. In my Jeep that requires unbolting the speaker pods which isn't difficult but it also isn't quick. The top of the wind stopper also fits a little loose in the top 6 inches where the rest was tight no matter how I tried to make fine adjustments. I think it would hold but never had that issue with other tops. The last issue I have is with the design but the speaker pods and interior lights are on the outside of wind stopper. I don't know how that could be addressed unless the wind stopper attached behind it but I see why they did it looks a little strange.

I just want to mention since I saw this in another review that this definitely will not keep your Jeep dry. I've had this happen with other products and it's just the general design and well it's a Jeep. If it's a light rain for a short amount of time it might keep things dry. If there is either a hard rain or extended light rain it will not. There are gaps where it's not sealed completely at the top of the roll bar where any blowing rain come in and also where the tonneau cover wraps around the back roll bars since you can't get a completely weatherproof seal. I buy these more to keep the sun and dirt out and some of the A/C.

I gave it 2 stars since even though it will bow out like a bloated whale for anyone who's in the Jeep over 5 ft tall, I think it will actually stay securely attached and keep the wind out of the cabin or A/C in.
