The directions are sub-optimal, and the fit isn’t exact. I have a saddle interior and the panel pockets do not end up being flush against the black part of the 2017 door. And that was with two people pulling up on it and drilling a hole in the door panel. Is it an improvement? Yes. Could it be better? Definitely yes.
