Awesome Jerry can mount. This setup fit my budget well and allowed me to carry an extra 5 gallons of fuel with me. If you struggle to find the actual basket dimensions like I did, it's 13-3/4" x 6-7/8" so you should be able to fit just about any 5 gallon jerry can. The ratchet strap that it came with is pretty long so I'll probably cut it down at some point, but otherwise I just tuck it in behind the mount. Make sure you have a reinforced tailgate, this along with a spare tire adds quite a bit of weight!

Good product only issue is you will need to relocate the camera on your Jl

Ok, but several short coming: 1)metal strap in on the back side scrapes the can, 2) the metal gauge should one size thick, not sure will hold 40lbs over rocky roads with out cracking the metal or welds. Hard should have a better thread locking….we will see

Does not fit all 5 gallon jerry cans. If your can has a 1/4 inch or less rib on the sides it will not fit. need a smooth side on your jerry can.
