Trying to match the wheels on my Jeep. Does this fit the P235/75R15 tire?

Yes, the Rough Country Daytona Steel Wheel for the 87-06 Jeep Wrangler (YJ & TJ) will fit a P235/75R15 tire, provided you choose the 15x8 size.
Rim Diameter: Your tire requires a 15-inch wheel, which is exactly what the Daytona 15-inch series provides.
Rim Width: The P235/75R15 tire has an approved rim width range of 6.0 to 8.5 inches. The 15x8 model falls perfectly within this range.
Caution on 15x10: Avoid the 15x10 version for this tire. A 10-inch wide wheel is too wide for a 235mm tire; it would stretch the sidewalls excessively, potentially causing safety issues and poor bead seating.

What is the "backspace" and how do you measure it?

Backspace is the distance from the back of the mounting pad to the back lip of the wheel. It is measured by laying the wheel on its face, placing a straight edge across the wheel, and then measuring down to mounting face. The lower the wheel backspace is, the wider the Jeep's stance will be. Thanks for your inquiry.
