Why is the one color option listed as brown and not "spice?" Does it match the original "spice" interiors of the CJ?
Also, one seat is $225, but a pair of seats are $500. Why the upcharge for the 2nd seat?

The Quadratec Heritage Premium Front Seats color listed as "Brown" is specifically designed to be a close match to the classic "Spice" interior found in many 1976–2006 Jeeps, though there are important distinctions to keep in mind regarding original color matching.
The reason these seats are categorized as "Brown" is to distinguish the specific Heritage line's material and finish from standard replacement vinyl.
Tonal Match: Quadratec's "Brown" in the Heritage line is intended to complement the Spice and Tan palettes used in CJ, YJ, and TJ interiors. It aims to capture the vintage look of original upholstery rather than the flat, industrial look of many modern replacements.
Material Difference: The Heritage seats use a premium automotive-grade vinyl with a texture that mimics leather. Because this texture reflects light differently than the original factory grain, Quadratec uses the broader term "Brown" to manage expectations, as an exact 100% color-code match to 30-year-old faded interior plastic is difficult to achieve.
Original CJ Interiors: If you are matching a classic CJ, be aware that Jeep used several variations of tan, nutmeg, and honey over the years. This "Brown" is generally a deeper, richer tone that looks very at home in a CJ but may be a shade darker than a heavily sun-bleached original "Spice" interior.

Is the material grainy denim type or smooth naugahyde material like used in the Laredo models?

It is a UV-tested/resistant vinyl covering. In the most practical terms, Naugahyde is a brand of vinyl upholstery.

I have a 99 , 3 door wrangler sport
It needs rear seat and front seats
I have some in my cart but I’m
Reading it needs the seat glide (adapter) aswell. Is this correct? I can’t use the current adapter that’s already on the car?
I also need a bit of help with wheels, full set wheels and tires.

The heritage seats require adapter brackets for use in 97-06 TJ models. They will not attach to your factory seat riser. A 1999 model can use the Smittybilt brand of seat adapters in the recommended parts section. Almost all rear seat models we carry should bolt in without needing any brackets for mounting. Thanks for your inquiry.

My TJ has tilt and lift bracket. Will adapter fit this style?

Not directly. Smittybilt and Rugged Ridge Adapter brackets will work with the factory seat bracket. Normal seat tilt function will be lost. The heritage seats have a fixed back. Thanks for your inquiry.

Is the back adjustable like a factory seat or fixed?

No, it is a fixed back that does not recline. Thanks for your question.
