Will these easily fit on a 1981 CJ5? The factory seats are almost impossible to remount with the factory brackets. They are fixed (no adjustment in any direction). After installing carpet trying to put the seat brackets back in while attached to the seat was impossible. There are only 3 bolts I could get back in the mounts for both sides. They are the right frames for both sides. I believe it is the seats that make the frames not work. I didn't see any reviews for older CJ's and want to know before I order.

It is a UV-tested/resistant vinyl covering. In the most practical terms, Naugahyde is a brand of vinyl upholstery.

The heritage seats require adapter brackets for use in 97-06 TJ models. They will not attach to your factory seat riser. A 1999 model can use the Smittybilt brand of seat adapters in the recommended parts section. Almost all rear seat models we carry should bolt in without needing any brackets for mounting.
