Speakers are better for sure, but not sure the juice is worth the squeeze for me. Installation wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. Strong advice take the sound bar off when you install.

Speakers do sound alot better. Installation was pretty easy. Glad I did the upgrade on my Wrangler JL.

When I ordered this it advertised that it used the stock speaker grills, which it does. What I didn't realize is that it uses a foam spacer (maybe 1 1/2 inches thick) to add depth for the larger speakers. It looks okay, but it does lower the grills and is a bit more noticeable sitting in the back seat. Otherwise, looks and sounds great. You'll definitely want to upgrade the front speakers as well.
