I currently have a hard top on my 2016 JKU. I do not have the windshield channel or door frames for a soft top. Would I need them for this top? If so is there a package that necessary hardware comes with the top?
Ordering the Complete Top Kit will include all the necessary hardware (specifically for you, this is what you need to order). For Customers with an existing Trektop, this will reuse hardware from the soft top already installed on the Jeep.

I have a 2008 wrangler x unlimited that is a hardtop. Will the complete kit be the whole top/back and hardware needed to transition into a soft top?
Yes. The complete top kit can be purchased if you do not presently have a soft top for use with the Halftop. Thanks for your inquiry

I have an older Trektop (purchased is 2016) that the rear window zipper has broken so it isn't usable. Will the kit for existing Trektops work or would I have to buy a whole new kit?
The option for the existing Trektop would work in that case. You already have the tailgate and door surrounds necessary to install. Thank you for the question.
