Hello, so i have the wiring installed for the turn signal and day time running lights. My jeep doesn't have day time running lights, but i thought if i turn my parking lights on then the halo would illuminate.

For the Tactik 9" Gen 2 LED Headlights, your logic is correct—you can wire the halo to illuminate with your parking lights, but it requires a specific wiring step.
The "Plug & Play" portion of the harness typically only covers the Low and High beams. To get the DRL Halo and Turn Signal functions working on a Jeep that didn't come with them, you need to tap into the vehicle's signal circuits.
How to wire for Parking Light activation
If you want the white halo to turn on whenever you rotate your light stalk to the Parking Light position, follow these steps:
Identify the Halo Wire: On the back of the Tactik headlight, there is a separate Red wire (usually designated for the DRL/Halo).
Locate the Parking Light Wire: On the Jeep JL/JT fender flare, find the wiring harness leading to the front marker/turn signal lamp.
The Wire to Tap: You are looking for the White wire with a Green stripe (this is the dedicated parking/marker light power).
Connect: Use a T-tap or solder the Red halo wire from the headlight to that White/Green wire.
Turn Signal (Optional): If you want the halo to flash Amber with your turn signals, connect the Yellow wire from the headlight to the White wire with a Tan stripe on the same fender harness.
Recommended Accessory
If you want to avoid splicing into your factory wires, Quadratec makes a specific DRL Adapter Wiring Harness (Part #97109-0925) for this exact scenario. It "tees" into your fender light plug and provides two pig-tail leads:
One lead triggers with the ignition (constant DRL).
One lead triggers with the parking lights (what you are looking for).
If all that is done correctly, the next step would be to reprogram or "flash" the Jeep's BCM. That can be done with Superchips SC-MOD Flashcal+ for 07-26 Jeep Wrangler JK, JL & Gladiator JT - Jeeps that did not have factory DRL's will need to do this.

Will this work right out the box with my stock halogen wiring (20 Gladiator Sport) or do I need to purchase something else to run the turn signals and DRLs?

Yes, and no. These are a direct fit and will plug-n-play. However, the PCU (Powertrain Control Module, think of it like the computer brain of your Jeep), needs to be re-programmed to tell it about the change from Halogen to LED. This can be done with a handheld programmer or at a local dealership that offers re-programming services (not all do). In the long run, customers typically find it more practical to purchase their own programmer as it offers MANY more applications than just light programming a single time: Superchips 3581-JT Flashcal+ for 20-25 Jeep Gladiator JT

Will I still need the wiring harness to integrate the turn signals after tazer programming?

Yes, the DRL harness is required for installation. Thanks for your inquiry.

If I’m swapping OEM leds to this will I still need the accessory wiring kit?

It is still required for the use of DRL Halo illumination regardless of your original lighting parameters. Sorry for the inconvenience.

My 2022 sport has halogens and no DRL. Other than buying the Quadratec DRL adapter wiring harness, is there any reprogramming that needs to take place to use the DRL on this light?

For JL & JT models that did not come factory-equipped with DRL, flash programming by a Jeep dealer will be required to recognize the DRL function of this headlight. Thanks for your inquiry.

2020 JL wrangler- Factory lights are Halogen. Will the TACTIK TT-LED-DRL-HALO-9 work as a plug and play replacement?

It is designed for plug and play use. Thanks for your inquiry.
