The tolerance of the hole on the arm where it gets clamped is a bit loose allowing the arms to move up/down a bit. Not ideal when driving having bouncing mirrors. Also when I hit 25mph the mirrors start to whistle and it gets louder the faster you go. There is a sharp edged rubber bushing that goes around the edge of the mirror that makes it whistle. I am going to put a bead of clear silicone adhesive on the back to fix that.

not all the way happy with this. you cant see out of the passenger mirror because of the canvas door. hopefully it will be able to see better when i take door off.

I love the look but hate how they fold in. The mounting post can only be tightened by hand and it just doesn’t get tight enough

If you drive at, or under, the speed limit these are decent mirrors. At 70 mph+ these things fold back and the clamp is too weak to hold them in place. Look for something with a better design if you want usable mirrors while driving at highway speeds.

Not a very good solution for on-road use. These mirrors vibrate substantially when driving. The bracket mounts to the cowling of the Jeep using a single bolt. The cowling is a flexible metal panel of course, so the weight of the mirror applies pressure to the bracket, thus flexing the cowling, causing vibration. Additionally, the mirrors whistle terribly due to the mounting solution of the mirror to the arm. Lastly, the mirror arms are held in place using friction by squeezing the two sides of the mounting bracket together using a hand knob bolt to "sandwich" the mounting arm. The friction isn't enough to overcome the force of wind when traveling any faster than 35mph or so, causing the mirrors to fold inwards while traveling down the road. This product might be okay for slow-speed off-road use, but if you're looking for a nice road-worthy solution, this is not your answer.

Yeah, I should’ve read the reviews. It’s impossible to get tight enough. Plus, yeah, it whistles going 20 to 25 miles an hour even. Not impressed with the product quality lately. Both branded and third-party products.

If these are not the worst mirrors on the market, they are close. Good concept but poorly executed. The brackets do not align properly, the quick release needs pliers to tighten enough to hold, and the wind whistling over 35 mph will drive you nuts. Would return, but one of the mounting bolts stripped due to bracket alignment and had to scratched the quick release bolts trying to tighten enough to hold. Very poor design!

Mounting holes don’t align. Attempting to install could cause cross threading. Instant return for me.
