Do you have instructions for lifting a gladiator top? All I see referenced is the wrangler. Thanks!
While the hoist mechanism and ceiling mounting points are identical, the way you balance and secure the Gladiator top requires a different approach due to its unique shape.
Standard Installation Steps for JT
Ceiling Prep: Mount the hoist frame to your garage joists exactly as described in the Wrangler manual.
Vehicle Alignment: Back your Gladiator into the garage so the rear window is directly centered under the hoist.
Strap Placement: Place the support straps under the hardtop. For the JT, the rear straps should be placed as far back as possible on the flat portion of the roof before it drops down toward the bed.
The "Slow Lift": Lift the top only 1–2 inches first. Check if the top is tilting forward or backward. If it is, lower it and slide the straps forward or back until it lifts perfectly level.

Do you have to leave the rear window open when you're storing the top?
For the QuadraTop 4-Point Hardtop Hoist System, the answer is no, you do not have to leave the rear window open during storage. In fact, it is generally recommended to keep the rear window closed while the top is suspended.

I have a 2018 and I'm being forced to select the kit with the cart, which I don't need. Is there a way to order this without the cart for the newer models?

Can this be installed on a pitched ceiling and still function as advertised?
Yes, you'll have to adjust the rop lengths accordingly so that the top raises and lowers level.

I have a gladiator and a Wrangler and only want to buy one hoist system. Is there a hoist system that would work for both?
This hoist will work for YJ, TJ, JK, JL, and JT.

How high of a ceiling is supported with this kit? Are the ropes long enough for a 12’ ceiling?
Yes, this can fit a 12' ceiling. However, we'd encourage you to review the PDF instruction manual on the website. On page 14 there is the chart for measurements and when a longer rope must be purchased.
