Reviews for Carnivore Front Bumper for 87-06 Jeep Wrangler YJ, TJ & Unlimited

I just installed the bumper yesterday and it looks great! Here are the challenges I had on the install: 1. Installing the Stone Guard: The images in the instructions are zoomed in too close to see how it should be positioned. I have a feeling i'll be redoing it as soon as I add the auxiliary lights. 2. Missing instruction: I also had a plastic cover just below the grill that had to be removed in order for the bumper seat properly which wasn't in the instructions but perhaps this is just because I have the Rubicon and it may not be on other models. This wasn't a big deal. 3. Installing the bolts once the bumper is in place: There wasn't much room to move the wrench but perhaps because of my feedback on 1. of installing the stone guard incorrectly. I contemplated removing the screens on the front for easier access but did not want to chance messing up the look of the black bolts. 4. After the bumper was slipped into place and installing the final 6 bolts, the recommended 19mm socket was too small. I ended up using a 3/4" and it worked great. Summary: The install was a bit more challenging than I expected but the end result is that is looks amazing!

I just installed the full-size Carnivore front bumper without the Over-Rider Bar. I ordered it Monday and it arrived Wednesday. I was able to install it in about 30 minutes, including removing the old bumper. I haven't installed the winch or the lights yet but so far, I am very pleased. The craftsmanship and finish are great. The only problem is that the left top corner was scuffed during shipping. The box had a few holes in it but was still intact. A little flat black paint and it is hardly noticeable. I'll try to submit another review when I get the winch and lights installed. Very nice so far.

This is a really solid bumper that was packed very well. I happened to grab it during a flash sale, so the price couldn't have been better. I put the bumper on my '94 YJ and it fit perfectly.
Only downside…there was no decal in the box.
