I installed this on my 2006 LJ and it definitely tightens the shift pattern so the throw is shorter and precise. The description says 07-2018 but it will work with the NSG-370 that were installed on the 05-06 TJ/LJs as well.

This shifter does exactly as it’s intended to do. The shifter is not meant to make your shifting smoother , it is made to have more positive engagement. It does take getting used to but you can actually tell when the Jeep is in gear . And we have not had anymore problems with it popping out of gear . @Roamrevalation

Much better shifting control. Buy a new boot with the shifter. Mine just fall apart.
Shifts well but not as smooth as I hoped.

Don't waste your money! This was junk right out of the box. Only shifts straight forward (3rd) and straight back (4th). Will not leave the 3-4 gate. Will not shift over to 1-2 or 5-6/reverse. If you only need 3rd and 4th gear...then this is the shifter for you! I rate as 1 star because ZERO STARS is not an option.
