Reviews for Lost Canyon Truck Bed Rack for 20-25 Jeep Gladiator JT
Love the full height rack. However a couple of issues. 1st one of the six uprights were pinched. The flat support cross member was pushed up al ost a half inch. Had to use a 2x4 and hammered it back down close as straight I could get it. 2nd there was 2 spots on 2 different uprights that are scratched down to bare steel. The powder coating is gone. And last but not least do not loose any of the hardware. There are no extra washers, lock nuts or screws in the hardware provided by the company. A couple of spares would’ve been nice. Especially on a rack that’s over $1000. Just sayin. Install took me appx 2 hours doing it solo in the driveway on a sunny but cold December day. I will say the rack seems very sturdy. I’ve had no noises or play coming from the rack. It’s solid. And if you have a spray in bed liner make sure you have a 6mm x 1.0 tap to clean the mounting holes on the side of the bed. And try to mounting bolts in each hole before ever trying to set the base plates on the bed of the gladiator. I used 2 quick clamps to hold the bases in place while installing the uprights, 3 per side. Worked great if doing it solo. And one thing this rack has I’ve not seen on others are the grab handles. This are awesome especially if you have a lifted gladiator and you have 50 yr old knees of a former soldier. Nice touch to have that little detail when jumping up on the tailgate or jumping back down.
Installed on 2023 Gladiator Mojave, install was easy , works great with my roll up bed cover. Have used it to haul lumber several times.
After 6 months of use I really like it! I’ve put it through the paces with hundreds of rough offroad abuse, and it’s been solid! This is my second rack on my 2021 Jeep JT eco diesel, and I’m convinced that the Lost Canyon is the best rack for the money. I’ve got 2 Rotopax diesel cans, 4 gal water tank and traction boards attached to the side panels. I also have a hardshell RTT on top. I did replace some of the anchor bolts with stronger ones I found at Ace hardware (because I snapped a couple with a hand wrench). The rack itself is very solid and sturdy after miles of rugged, bumpy roads. I don't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
The rack is made with 1/8" metal and appears to be a quality product. I have installed it over a Softopper on a 2022 Jeep Gladiator and the fit is close but works. Pay close attention to the alignment of the bars to give maximum clearance between Softopper and rack. Easy to install with minimum tools. Assembled and installed by myself. Would recommend to anyone that can use a bed rack with the load ratings it has.
Super fast shipping, nice instructions and completed the install by myself in 3 hours. I wanted a bed rack for my Gladiator that would accommodate my existing weather tech roll up tonneau cover. It does! The Lost Canyon Rack is solid and the hand rails are a nice touch! Very happy with this purchase!
Installed this rack on a 2022 Gladiator with the Eco Diesel. Easy to install and with only minor mods allowed me to use my Rough Country hard shell cover. Would certainly recommend this rack for those wanting to use a hard cover.
I have the full height rack on my 25 Gladiator... Love the versatility it gives me for camping and hunting... But like Derek D. as soon as the first rain hit it... All the bolts and washers rusted...
SERIOUSLY??? You can do better... And of course you can't find a company website to contact them for support...
While this to me is a "cosmetic" issue... It needs to be addressed by Lost Canyon ASAP...
I would give this a negative star if I could, then again the rack itself is great and the design is great. However, there's on big flaw...a huge flaw. I purchased this rack, the Lost Canyon full rack for my 2025 High Tide Jeep Gladiator, then I also purchased 2 orders of the Lost Canyon Truck Bed Accessory Panel Expansions (Molle Panels). Both the rack and the molle panels come with M10 Hex Drive Button Head Screws and M10 Flat Washers as well as M10 Nuts.
---Here's the major flaw, after 2 days....not 2 weeks, not 2 months, not 2 years....just after 2 normal days....both the bolts and washers had an overwhelming, aggressive amount of rust on them. The nuts...were spotless. The nuts are made out of stainless steel. The bolts and washers seem to be some sort metal that looks like an unfinished gun metal (best way to describe it) without an protection or paint. We've had no rain, no inclimate weather, no wind, and I haven't been to the beach or near salt water nor during install was there anything spilt on them...
I've written customer service to please resolve, resolution would be to replace the cheap, faulty, unrealiable bolts and washers with stainless steel ones....just like the nuts are...stainless steel.
