Is it absolutely necessary to remove the factory netting or can this product be installed along with the netting.
Leaving the nets on wouldn't allow the basket to sit flush against the door panel. We wouldn't recommend leaving them on.

How do I remove mesh netting & how do I install these
You will cut out the nets and follow the included instruction manual when the item arrives. It is pretty simple. There are lots of youtube videos of how to do it if you need the visual instructions.
