Cool little bumper. Fits a 2026.

Installation was straightforward with no issues. I was able to use my factory LED fog lights with the brackets provided. I installed a Badlands Apex 12000 winch and the fitment was tight but it works. Just a FYI for anyone using this setup…the power cable on the back of the winch is right against the grille and the front of the winch pushes up against the wiring harness on the back of the fog lights. I don’t think it will be an issue but I had to install the lights and wiring before installing the winch to get it to fit correctly.

I really like this Smittybilt front bumper. The bumper is constructed very well and seems to be very stout. The styling is ‘modernish’ but still has a beefy old school round over-rider hoop with several light attachment points. Overall I found the black powder coat finish in good condition except for the two upper corners of the bumper. The corners had poked through the packaging and box during shipping. The paint had rubbed off. A light touch up with black paint before the install and it looks okay. I will keep an eye out for any rust. A Badland Apex 1,200 lb winch fits, but it is tight. The OEM Rubicon LED fog lights fit perfectly. I’ve taken my Jeep out on a couple of off-road adventures since the install. It felt good to have a sturdy front bumper and winch just in case. No more Mopar plastic… at least in the front.

So you may say, if you think this bumper is so great why did you give it a four star rating. First the provided instructions and photos were not clear. Black and white, grainy, over exposed photos copied on to white paper are so 1980’s. An install video would have helped. Second I contacted the Smittybilt customer service line and asked a couple of questions about the install. I received little to no help with my questions. The person basically read the instructions to me, but could not elaborate as to the questions I had. The person was nice and polite , but did not seem to be familiar with the their product. This ls a name brand product and the bumper was not cheap.… I guess I expected more.
