I purchased these for my wife's LJ. She loves them and since she is only 5' 3" she sits higher than the original seats. I am 5'10" and I have to watch getting out or I rub on the top. They sit about 1 to an 1 1/2 higher with the tilt brackets installed. Personally, i would like them to be a little softer. They are very firm, I don't know if i would like to sit in them for 3-4 hours. Don't get me wrong , we are both happy with them, i am spoiled with my Corbeau XRS suspension seats in the JkU. By the way we both highly recommend them also.

Sexy seats fit perfect
It was a very easy install and the trickiest (and most time-consuming) part was getting the mounting holes to line up with the slider bracket (TIP: use a wood clamp to hold the slider assembly together so that you are not fighting the tension while trying to line up the screws with the holes).
As others have noted, these seats do sit taller in my '90 YJ - to the point that the seatbelts now BARELY make it over my modest beer belly and I cannot lean forward enough release the parking brake with the seatbelt fastened (seatbelts are OEM and the receivers now sit below the top of the seat, which doesn't help - I will probably end up getting extenders).
One thing I had not anticipated: these seats are WIDER that the originals so the seat is tight up against the center console and the sides of the seat back are in contact with my padded roll bar. The seats will recline but they rub the roll bar in the process (note that I am 6' 1" and my seats sit a little further back than some of those shown in customer photos).
Overall, a great, very comfortable, well made seat!
I really like these seats; as others have said it sits a bit high. I am 6'3 and if I'm not careful leaning back or hit a pothole i can smack my head on the sound bar. I figure if you are 5'11 and up you might consider getting the lower mounting brackets. Probably my next purchase
Great seats and easily assembled. I pulled the frames, lightly sanded them and applied a mat finish spray to them. Dried overnight for easy install. I'd recommend air tools for easy install.
In YJ applications, at first glance out of the box, the mounting bolts they give you are already screwed into the seats. These are not the only mounting holes on the frame of the seat! You will need to reach in and you will discover many different mounting holes that are threaded for the included bolts. Other than the mounting hole situation, I’m very pleased with these seats, they are beautiful!
Great seats. Look and feel nice. Wrap around my 6/5 290 frame snug and comfy. Also great instructions and easy installment. Make sure you get a good drill bit for the frozen stock seat bolts. They do sit you up higher so I had to remove the speaker thing bolted to the roll bar. I picked the these inexpensive really nice seats over the cool sound of that sound bar, but I'll make the tunes work another way.
