Ordering another set to replace my RR set from 5 years ago. The guards are starting to fade from black but one recently protected the side marker lens from damage when I got too close to a tree....LOL the littlest thing on the Jeep saved the day!

Good solid piece for the price. Will give a little protection I guess, but mostly will help your Jeep look a little more rugged and cool.
