Not bulky like the factory hinges with the covers.

Ordered these to replace my worn out hinges (one was actually broke). Easy install and great quality.

Worked absolutely fine for the 2 years I had them installed, smooth opening and closing. Very durable finish, look great too.

First of all I'm running stock tires on my 2017 JK. I bought these in October to replace the stock hinges that were just starting to wear out. It is now the middle of May and I just replaced them with new stock hinges because after 3 months the hinge pins on both units hard worn out and the tail rattled going over ever little bump! I will start the return process and hope they stand by their "satisfaction guaranteed" policy!!

Not overly impressed. The factory hinges were clapped out, so I ordered these to replace the OEM ones. Within three months, the pins and bushings appear to be worn out in these hinges as well, and the tailgate moves around and rattles incessantly while I drive on a paved highway. Hopefully an exchange set will fix this problem.
