Reviews for Corbeau E22089L Driver Side Seat Bracket for 07-10 Jeep Wrangler JK & JKU
The drivers side was a tough fit. The forward/right mount was difficult to line up, and the slides bind when pushed all the way back ( I'm short, so it's not much of a concern to me ).
They work good only complaint, holes don’t line up. Holes on short leg on driver and passenger side could b spread about a quarter inch. I should have read the above reviews prior to install, haha. I put 3 bolts a couple turns in, lifted the seat and angled the last one, worked fine
Bolts right on to seat, drops into jeep easy as pie. I would suggest setting the brackets in the jeep, put a good 200lbs on them and bolt them down BEFORE you take them out and put the seat on them. Mine needed a little stretch before the holes lined up just right, it was easiest to do without the seat on them. Once i had stretched them i put the seat on them and bolted them right in. Other thing is, i see in the near future someone sliding the seat back and catching their fingers. When the bracket is slid all the way back the frame and the slide lever are less than a man-finger width apart...it almost smashes my fingers
Do what Johnathon p said -- put something heavy on them before you take them out and put the seat on them -- they needed a good amount of stretch before the holes lined up right.
also agree that the slide needs to be wider, the space between the front of the seat bracket metal and the seat slide lever are not big enough
