This is a must have. Tire blew out on highway after hitting something in the road. Got to side and was able to jack up high enough to remove flat tire but not high enough to put on spare. Jacked it too high and Jeep fell off the jack and jack was wrecked. So I had to purchase new jack and this base. Jeep should be clear about this issue and offer the base as an option. It’s too late when you’re trying to do it on a major highway.

This is one of those items that no one seems to think about. If you lift your Jeep and put larger tires, like 35's which I did, the stock jack won't have enough stroke to lift your Jeep high enough to change a tire. I consider it a must have.
