I had issues getting housing to fit correctly. The wind bends the antenna back pretty far in normal driving conditions.

Really disappointed this time! I had this setup on my JK and it was really nice, so when I picked up my JL, I bought a new set. When it arrived, the antenna itself was fine, but the base looked like it was crudely 3D printed. I contacted Quadratec, and they immediately issued a return authorization and ordered a new one for me. Unfortunately, when the new one arrived, it looked just as bad. Maybe just a new supplier? I'm going to keep it and try to sand it down and maybe paint it to make it look like the one I got a few years ago, but for $85 I shouldn't have to. Had I known, I'd have taken the old one off the JK before I sold it. It still gets two stars because I anticipate the reception to be as good as my previous one, since the antenna appears to be the same....

AWFUL AM RECEPTION. IF AM RECEPTION IS A MUST DON'T GET THIS PRODUCT. LOTS OF STATIC AND ANY MOVEMENT CAUSES STATIC AND NOISE.

This antenna received about the same signal if not slightly better than my factory antenna. What wasn't better was after the antenna was installed for a week and I brought my jeep to a car wash (the same car wash I have been going to for the past 7 years) the antenna snapped just above the base. Was it a defective product or just poor quality? Not sure. Just submitted for a refund so I'll let you know how it goes. I don't think I'll make a second attempt with the same company for a replacement antenna.
