better than having broken or missing inserts, but these are not OEM quality; I bought sets for two old Jeeps of the same vintage and several of these inserts cracked the first time I put the door half back on; they seem to be made of a plastic that is more brittle than the 20 yr old inserts they replaced! par for the course with old vehicles

Not a perfect fit, I had to do a little "adjusting" with pliers. The top flange is thin and fragile. I can not recommend these.

I struggled to get these to fit as well. Have to order another set as I broke multiples going in. Also, I did everything I could not to chip the paint, but these chip going in.

They will fit in the holes, eventually, and that is about as positive as I am willing to be. You will need to file or otherwise grind these down to make them fit and work. In the future I will spend more for a better product. The adage you get what you pay for applies to these inserts.

Can’t get this in the hole on the hinge side. Bought a door seal from here also and it’s too thick for this part to “click” in. Other two went fine.

Absolute and total junk. I was under the impression that Crown Automotive was the best option for any replacement parts but boy was I wrong when it comes to these pin inserts. Fit terribly and as others have mentioned, the tabs that are intended to hold them into the door snap off with little to no pressure. Broke 4 of the 6 that I ordered while installing. That being said… the are holding the upper door tightly…for now, but as soon as I attempt to remove the upper door, the inserts want to come halfway out of the door. Will spend more money to try out the Omix and Rugged Ridge inserts instead. Highly suggest that nobody buy these and Crown should stop producing them unless they can provide a better product that isn’t a complete waste of money.
