Perfect for 31’s on 4.56 gearing

This was easy to install. Took me a little while to ensure I had everything aligned. But it put my speedometer back in sync.

34 inch tires. 4.88 gears. 40 tooth worked perfectly. GPS verified.

The installation was easy at 15 minutes and the quality appears to be of OEM grade (good bad or indifferent).

Got the 38 tooth count with my 36" Super Swampers and GPS matches the speedometer. Had a little issue when installing gear so pay attention when you take out the gear. Had to re-assemble stock gear and then put on new 38 tooth gear.

I have a 98 tj with 3.07 and 33” tires with auto Tran , the closest tooth was a 26 , after I installed my speedo is spot on for the highway and pretty much spot on around town , maybe about 1mph off , compared to about 10mph on the highway and not sure around town , great fix !
