I am very happy with these hold latches so far. They took less than an hour to do both sides, and that included cleaning and waxing underneath where the old hold latches were located. Pro tip: removing the airbox makes it much easier to access the passenger side. Slipping the grille forward also helps. They are well made and very sturdy. We will see how long the finish lasts, but I am optimistic. Others have talked about the small spacers on the heim joints being aproblem, but I did not have any issues with those at all.

They work pretty good. No more hood flopping on windy days.

Look good. Work good. Used a six inch extension and a swivel head between the extension and socket and put paper towel in the socket to hold the hardware in and it went smooth. Just pop out the air cleaner for passenger side.

Great product, The button is not red like in the picture (Didn't want red anyway). Real PITA to install on the JK with my big hands..... but 100% worth every curse word muttered.

Latches look good and work great. The installation instructions are clear and complete. Took me about 45 minutes to install, but most of that was trying to figure out how to get at the back of the lower part on the passenger side. The tip provided in the instructions helped, but the only way I was able to get at it was with a very small ratchet with a step up adaptor (from 1/8" to 1/4") and socket. Only dropped a socket through the engine once and REALLY tried hard not to drop the stock nut which I put right back on the new bolt.
