Reviews for Quadratec QJW-JL-HTC Deluxe Heavy Duty Hardtop Storage Cart for 07-22 Jeep Wrangler JL & JK
So the bolts won't fit through the caster wheel holes. Called customer service about it they said they'd ship another one, I asked if they could check the box first they said they didn't need to and sure enough same problem with the second shipment. Ended up getting my own hardware from the hardware store to make it work instead of flowing around shipping and stuff back and forth and having a call all the time. Bottom line don't waste your time until they figure this out unless you feel like going to the hardware store for your own stuff. Two stars simply because it does work really well once you have the right parts.
The cart support arms bowed in less than 45 days.
Waiting to hear how they will assist us. This is disappointing considering the cost.
Wood bent from the weight of the top and scratched the hell out of my top. not happy at all!
If you live in a dry climate I think this cart will work ok. I kept my Jeep Hard Top storage cart in a covered, locked garage with, what I thought to be, good air flow. This year I noticed that the "wood" (if you can call it that) was some sort of sawdust/glue amalgam that is prone to absorbing moisture. After a few seasons use, the cart's "arms" began to bow -- so much so that the middle of each arm almost touched the floor of the level garage. It was so bad that I needed two people to move the cart to switch it out with a metal version (cart) sold elsewhere. If you live somewhere with high humidity (like I do) consider just getting a metal one.
Very dissatisfied.
Absolute disaster of a product. Arms bow and after that top will fall over... will work for one time store use against a wall and tied down. Waiting to see what they will do for me.
Bought this in 2022 and stored my Jeep Wrangler JL hardtop on it for 1 season in 2023. When I put the hardtop back on it was so badly warped that the wheels on the cart wouldn't move. Had I known this would only last 1 season I would have bought a metal cart. Don't waste your money on this one. It's a waste of $230
First product review ever. Just received and put together. Once assembled, we took off the hardtop and placed it on the cart; wheeled it about 10 feet, and one of the rubber wheels separated from the rim, cracking the plastic housing around the metal base. Not pleased. Calling customer service now for a replacement.
After one season of use... legs are completely bowed. Very flimsy construction. Idd sonmany high reviews.. maybe mine is defective.. not much to it.
I should have just built one! The small piece of wood that was for the Z channel was drilled out for the lag bolts instead of the small screws they sent. Spent a few hours going to Lowe's and HD trying to find a screw that was wide enough but short and could not find anything. I bought this to save time and now I can't even set my top on it for the first nice weekend. Called their customer service and they told me to try to fix it myself or send it back and wait 2-3 weeks for another one to come in! I now have to go out and buy wood and carpet to fix it, spending more money on it! What a waste and crappy service.
Well designed cart but the wood material is absolute garbage. If you purchase this item, it MUST be housed indoors 24/7/365. The first tome it gets wet or is in a high humidity environment, the composite wood warps badly and loses all strength.
