Better than Mopar at half the price !!

It is what it is. I have an after market hood catch for which I needed the rubber bumper that cushions the hood on the fender. From what I have been able to discover, you just can not purchase the rubber piece.

Received the Hood Catch within a few days. Fit properly, but split in less than 3 weeks. Has to be replaced. Customer support advised I have to wait to see if manufacturer will warrant the product. In the meantime, I guess I'm supposed to park it.

Bought on June15th of 2025 lasted till August 8th and then the rubber broke in half at the through pin. Other reviewers had warned that these things are TRASH and it would happen but I had to have a replacement as the daystar replacements were out of stock till August. I have since re ordered the Daystars since they are now instock and they're good to go my last pair lasted almost 10 years. DO NOT BUY THESE FROM CROWN THEY WILL FAIL. Quadratec you should pull these from the website they are a waste of money and or refund every one who has ordered these as they are a faulty product.

These fit and look fine for a short time, but within two years, the strap was split, cracked, and just as bad or worse than the one it replaced.

These latches initially seemed fine. The fit was okay and they closely resembled the Mopar product. Even though I had only one broken latch, I replaced both sides, thinking it was prudent to do so. But after only nine months, both are cracking and will soon fail. So, I'll have to replace both sides again. This time I will not cheap out. So, I am disappointed in this problem. They are suitable as a temporary fix only.
