Great item. Yes you will need a heat gun to make slipping the seat belt threw the sleeve. made it very easy and was done in 5 min.

I just threaded the needle on one of these. I dremeled out some plastic on the bottom. Then put some heat to it, around the twist and up into the twist from the bottom, that gave me the ability to grab it with some sturdy needle nose pliers and twist it thru. Good Luck!

They made the RH and LH with the same CCW twist. The factory had one a CCW twist and the other a CW twist. In order to use these with factory belts, the mounting tab will have to be bent in the opposite direction in order for everything to line up right. Not a deal breaker though.

Worked for an hour with a hair dryer but couldn't get the angled bracket fished through. Plastic is much more rigid than original. Heated it to the point of distorting the shape, with no luck getting it passed the twisted portion.

Absolute garbage. the twist makes it impossible to get belt through. as soon as I started to get it heated with the heat gun, the twist kinked beyond repair, then while pulling it the metal ripped the side of the plastic. complete junk
