These do not fit a 1984 CJ if you're planning to use the existing bumper bolt hole and the pre-drilled hole in the frame which would require 2" spacing center to center. As far as can tell nobody makes a tow hook that is direct bolt on for the CJ. Otherwise these hooks are well made and appear to have a high-quality paint coating.
