Yes, if you are converting from a soft top to a hard top you will need the wiring harness (purchased seperately) to function the rear defrost and wiper.

Does the rear window lock ?
Yes, the rear glass window on the Mopar 3 Piece Freedom Top does lock, but it relies on your Jeep's power door locks or manual tailgate handle mechanism rather than a separate independent key cylinder.
When your vehicle doors are locked, the tailgate cannot be opened, which keeps the rear glass securely latched and locked in place. When you unlock your doors, the tailgate handle is free to be lifted, which releases the latches holding the glass hatch shut.

My 2016 JW Rubicon 4 door came with Freedom Hardtop with front panels. Inside is coated with black carpet material. I left out last summer in the Arizona heat and it now literally comes off in goobs of black soot if you touchbit. Can it be fixed/removed? Topnis functioning fine. HELP

I have 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sahara will this top fit? Also is this top paintable?
If a 4 door Unlimited Sahara, this top will fit. This model is not designed to be painted. We used to separately offer a paintable primer version however it has been discontinued. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Can you get the top with the factory insulation?
No. Hardtop insulation accessories from Mopar and other aftermarket brands are offered but cannot be included along with the Hardtop or preinstalled, unfortunately. Thanks for your inquiry.

Can a snowboard, luggage or ski rack mount over a freedom top? If so can you recommend products?
Yes there are a few hardtop roof racks that will mount on the rail of this hardtop, and not interfere with the Freedom Panels. The weight limit of racks and cargo is 150lbs. You will need to combine the basic roof rack system with a ski or snowboard adapter as well, for assistance figuring out which combination is best for you please contact our sales/service team at 1-800-745-5337

Do I need to order any tubing or a special kit for the windshield wiper fluid to reach the back window??
If your vehicle is not equipped with the controls for the hardtop then you will need to purchase and install the conversion which will include the controls and fluid hose to connect to the hardtop.
