Reviews for QuadraTop Replacement Soft Top with Tinted Windows for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ
Ease to install. Just watch video. A lot better fit than I thought from reading the other reviews. Did the best research I could. Stop here this is the best soft top for your buck! Only reason I put 4 out of five stars is the back window zippers keep falling off. I have lost one completely, and can't find a replacement that matches the teeth.
my only complaint is the zipper on the rear window keeps derailing otherwise a nicely built top.
Soft top material kind of loose after install. Not terrible but feels like the back window is too big. However, even while being very loose in the back, it does not flap at all on the highway. Quietest top I’ve ever had.
Some people said they had trouble with the zippers. Make sure you start the zipper correctly or it won’t come together at the corners. As I initially had difficulty but restarted the zipper and it went fine. Don’t force it.
It fis nicely. I'm happy with it. It would be better if it had 2-sided zipper handles on the rear roll-up window.
Managed to get my soft top shipped to the UK then hand carried to Africa. It was well worth it!
Looks great, fit well, but the rear window is a bear to zip closed.
Material is high quality but the fit is poor. appears all the pieces are half an inch over sized. This allows the windows to be wavy giving a distorted view. Previous Bestop had a much tighter fit.
Mine has lasted a little over 4 years now, and for the most part, it still looks pretty good and still holding up OK. However, my complaint is that the rear window zipper completely rotted off to the point where there's no metal slider, just fabric left (New England winters and salt ate the zipper off way too soon, apparently). It never was an issue with my original top. To make matters worse, I learned thatQuadratec does not offer any window replacement kits for the QuadraTop. QuadraTop does not use YKK-compliant zippers. Only Bestop and Mopar models do, and they sell replacement window kits. So your only options with this top if any windows or zippers break is to buy a whole new top, or hopefully get it repaired at an upholstery shop. Wishlist: YKK compliant zippers, and zippers that can open in both directions like the original.
Nice top, decent fit. Plastic strip that attaches to header did not have all holes pre-drilled. Otherwise I would have completed install in less than an hour.
My first impression was this top was well build but upon installation the passenger window did not fit correctly where the bottom window tucks under the window ledge.
